Marvi Blandon is originally from Venezuela and moved to the U.S. with her family after graduating high school. She has been working in the talent acquisition space for 10 years, where she’s held multiple roles both as an individual contributor as well as a people manager. Her main areas of expertise include creating effective recruiting strategies, diversity and inclusion hiring, strategic sourcing and employer branding. Marvi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (BYU) and a Master’s degree in Social Work (Columbia University). She also serves on the board of directors for Elevate Utah, a small non-profit organization that provides services for immigrant families in Utah County. When she’s not working, you can find her chasing her two very active boys (ages 9 and 6), enjoying hikes with her family, traveling and listening to music or a good non-fiction audiobook.
